The Pandemic & Food Insecurity Today

A very big thank you to the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge for having our Executive Director, Emily Chatelain, speak at their August meeting. Emily discussed the role that Three O'clock Project played during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and what the current landscape in feeding children looks like ahead during this new school year.

A message from our Director:

I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful opportunity to speak at the August meeting of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge. It was truly an honor to engage with such an esteemed group of individuals dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.

Sharing my insights about child food insecurity was a privilege, and I hope that the information I provided was both informative and inspiring to everyone in attendance. The thoughtful questions and lively discussions that followed underscored the enthusiasm and commitment of the Rotary Club members to meaningful change.

I was deeply impressed by the genuine camaraderie and shared values that permeate the Rotary Club. Your dedication to service, philanthropy, and fostering connections truly reflects the best of our community spirit. It is clear that the Rotary Club plays a pivotal role in driving positive change, and I am honored to have been a part of that conversation.

Once again, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to contribute to your meeting. I look forward to staying connected and supporting the impactful work that the Rotary Club continues to undertake.
